About: Mr. Brinkus is a frog-like home security salesman, that is to say he specialises in home protection warding charms and contraptions. His wards might not always be as effective as his grandiose publicity make them out to be, but he always seems to manage to convince residents of the outer-outer circle that they will sleep more soundly with the help of a small anti-beast protection alarm or other. For a price, he will even throw in a custom sign indicating that the designated abode is protected (if only the monsters could read… or cared). Brinkus is in his early forties and has a cheerful, somewhat loud and gossipy demeanour. He is considered reputable and trustworthy by most of the city-folk, if a bit of an oddball (although that might just be due to his gills, webbed fingers and green, slimy skin). He does not appear to have any relatives and lives on his own.
