About: I think we should all create something we value. I value poetry in free verse, shared allowed - it's all that mattered to me. But my poetry collective and all the others in my city adopted an Official Form of poetry, not to be spoken allowed and to follow strict conventions. It makes no sense. I am pretty sure my fellow poets were only convinced to go in this artistic direction because the most senior members of the collective sacrificed their own creativity and reason in order to make the poetic form they found most beautiful the only form we could use. Anyways, this is probably boring and silly to people who have really serious concerns but for me this was alienation from the only place, people and craft that I related to, that I thought brought out my talents. I hate that I lost that, but that rupture gave me my magic. I have come to the Sanctuary to study with a small group of mages to hone my craft. I still want to write poetry again though.
