After the migration to the New Sanctuary, the famous (or infamous) Greed Mage Chrysus took up residence in the mechanical sun that runs through the city's artificial sky.

It would have been surprising if her previous abode was not literally nicknamed “the Sun”.

During the Week of Freedom, for no apparent reason, she turned the moon into pure gold as well and claimed it also, stating merely that “We need two Suns.” Some were slightly disturbed by this, but Florianus promised to be the artistic consultant and alter it to make it more aesthetically coherent with everything else, and all disgruntlements died down.

Much to everyone's dismay, as Chrysus' attention was occupied by the moon, the famous (or infamous) Lady Thief Blue Jay managed to briefly steal the Sun and paint it blue. The Sun was soon restored to its original colour, but most residence of the New Sanctuary would remember the strange day when the Sun was blue and the moon was golden.
